Reichenfeld cultural quarter has an impressively unique atmosphere and an extraordinary setting. A traditional park is home to a collection of four buildings: Pförtnerhaus, Vorarlberg State Conservatoire, Feldkirch Musikschule (all built in 1899/1900) and Altes Hallenbad (opened in 1965).

Until 1977, all the buildings were part of the prestigious private Catholic grammar school – the “Stella Matutina” Jesuit College – which had a high-profile reputation throughout the world. Today, these buildings are used as training facilities and event venues by university, municipal and state establishments. They provide rooms and halls for live concerts, cabaret, theatre, dance, readings, art projects and films, along with performances, exhibitions, interventions, clubbing and workshops.

Reichenfeld cultural quarter is located close to the city centre from which it is only separated by the River Ill – two footbridges and two road bridges make it easily accessible. The entire site is traffic-free, with a two-storey underground car park located immediately below the park.
